I didn't know until today that the French never assimilated the term 'byte', which most of the rest of the world uses, and use 'octet' instead.

..then again, we don't use the term 'byte' when referring to MAC address segments.

Do they use Mo/s instead of Mb/s when describing transfer speeds though? :?: 8-)
