Talk about the big screen and little screen in here.

Passengers was quite good as was the Kingsman.
On Friday night i saw IT at the cinema and have to say i enjoyed it a lot, there were a few jump scares several shivers down my spine and on the whole a movie well acted and shot. It reminded me of a horror goonies in a way as it was set in the eighties/ early nighties i think

I wasn't sure if It would have worked.
I read the book years ago and thought it might have felt a bit dated.

(Quite a lot of Kings books were treated to low budget adaptations, so that probably influenced me.) :)

The Accountant, with Ben Affleck. Well made crime thriller with touches of class.
Recommended.

I'm watching one of the versions of 1982 Blade Runner. Excellent as always, but it's set in 2021. That means Los Angeles has but a few years to turn from the City of Angels into a warped, dystopian megacity. I suppose it's enough time, and North Korea might help...

I see the new version is getting good reviews. I won't see it for years unless I find a place to download it when it comes out on BR.

Resident Evil: the Final Chapter. Okay, some decent effects. Not brilliant though.

The Escort. Funny but gross comedy about a guy looking to make a bit of cash and finds himself driving hookers around.

Suicide Squad on DVD, still think Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger performance as the Joker was miles better than Jared Leto

The Last Starfighter. Good fun when it came out in '84. Badly dated now into being unwatchable if you're over seven.
Alien. 1979. As good today as it was back then. Go figure.

The Last Starfighter is a classic. :)
"Here is a picture of my Wifeoid" :D

The CGI was cutting edge in it's day.
