Tech help for the PC
By ColdFire
I'm looking into getting this pre-built pc but was just wondering if its a decent set up? I know that If I built my own I could get it cheaper or get a better system but I cant do that at the moment so was hoping to get a decent pre-built one to last me a few years. I'm terrible with the specs and everything else so hoping you could look these over and tell me if its a good build or not!

What? No SSD drive? It's an alright set up, would have preferred a SSD drive, but that is just me I guess

The rest of the specs seem reasonably good

Not bad at all. If you want to play the fastest games on Ultra then you might find the graphics card lacking just a touch, but otherwise (plus an SSD as Richie said), it's pretty good.

Ah okay thank you for the quick replies! I'm planning on adding a SSD to it when I get more money :) ill just be happy to play some games on high/medium settings, ive always had computed with intel hd graphics

Do you think id benefit from using one of those build it yourselfs websites like overclockers or pcspecialist? Or have I found a pretty good pc already?

This site (in an old form) had some links to Overclockers.

Build a kit the same on Overclockers and then play around with the components to see if it's worth your while. :)

I checked out overclokers, however they seem pretty expensive, everytime I build something it goes way other £100, my budget is £800, I'm really not good with specs haha
