I currently use Godaddy for hosting my expats forum and Compufix website, but they're getting a bit expensive now. The cheapest starts at around $96 PA.
PC Forums is hosted at Inception Hosting and they offer hosting from 1 to 3 euros per month, from what I can see.
Does anyone here have any experience or suggestions?

I plan to use a WordPress blog theme and these people have a reasonable deal for WP.

How much traffic are you seeing? Is it worth paying for a static IP and hosting your sites on your own home-server?

I only use it for my work email at the moment.
I was planning on putting a site up as well, but I have enough work without it, so it's an option if it starts to dry up.

I just renewed my domain thelastbritishpresident.com at Godaddy, but I'll likely host it at one of Wooster's recommendations, or Inception hosting.
I'll be going with WordPress, self hosted and choose a free theme, most probably. I won't be doing much until the book cover design is complete, since it should be a great marketing tool.

In the end I stayed with Godaddy as they had an offer going on.
Here's the site I've just put up for marketing purposes and prior to my book cover being ready.

I used a WordPress theme I already had for Compufix and then used Elementor for the design. It really is the most simple drag and drop web design program I've ever seen.
Even I can use it and it's FREE!

Now that I have three websites hosted at Godaddy and paying for three different hosting plans, next month I'll be upgrading the main and most visited site (my expats forum) to the deluxe hosting which offeres unlimited domains.
I'll then move the other two across and have all three under one hosting plan.

Double post incoming...
The deluxe plan with Godaddy is working out very well for me, mainly because of the unlimited domains that I can run. This is especially useful for add-on and sub-domains when you want to run a test site, for example.
I've also been playing with cloning which is very handy.

Just Host were not only shit, they were hitting her up for £180 per year. (w/ Domain Renewal Tso are only £70)

Not really hosting but, I just bought two years of Wirseshark VPN for £38.

Good deal is good.

It's actually Surfshark but the edit feature appears broken.
