My five year old Corsair H100i water cooling AIO has begun to show hairline cracks in the rubber hoses, so I've splashed out on a new Corsair H100i Platinum RGB.
I've also bought another 16gb of Corsair DDR4 RAM (2 x 8Gb) which will bring me up to 32gb. Probably overkill, but it was on offer at Scan UK and less than half the price of what's on offer in Argie land.
I fly back on Monday by the way.

Considering getting a RTX graphics card, but the RTX 2080 is still painfully expensive for whatever reason it needs to be like that

I still have a 970 but I'm only running it at 1080p. When I upgrade my monitor then the 2080 will be needed.

On my display it's 20" wide so this is what I see, full screen.

My old rig has a 250Gb M.2 sata drive that I can't use in the new one, so thinking about firing it in an enclosure.
Problem is, I've been racking up ssd's over the years, caddy'd them and given them away, so will end up with the same thing in a slightly smaller format.

I did buy a Dymo LM PnP USB label printer though.
One of the contracts I have demand that every end of their cables are fully tagged with the full hostname/interface, so they end up a fucking foot long and a pain in the arse to type on a handheld.
i.e UBR-Kilm-053366-MM540526 int WAN 0/2(eth 0/6) to ONEA 554387 int Eth0/3
(Was going to buy the Brother BT Cube, but can snag free Dymo cartridges from my old employer that I still do work for)

I might start looking out for a new chair soon, this humanscale is good but I'd fucking love another Kab.

I picked up a leather Kab Executive from an office clearance warehouse years ago for £40 (bargain) and it was the comfiest chair I've ever had.
(The torsion spring eventually went on it and the replacement part was £450, so I gave it to a mate and he's still using it locked)

Do the keys still make a noise when they bottom out or does it come with rubber O rings or the like?

A little bit of a noise but not half as much as the Mk1 made more like a normal keyboard now reaaly

When I have to type onward referrals at work on the old membrane keyboards it feels weird and makes me want a mech board.

There are probably some old PS/2 M2's lying in a box in an IT store room somewhere on site.

Just bought some new headphones yesterday as my logitech G403 set broke saturday night :( the swivel bit that attaches the headphone to the band completely shattered so the earpiece was was just dangling i tried taping it and also glueing it but just didnt work i like those headphones to!

I replaced them with a set of logitech Pro X which i have to say are very very nice! Got them from Argos which were £20 cheaper than Amazon!

So in the past three weeks i have had to replace my keyboard and headphones! £240 spent so far!
