Not everyone will be comfortable getting onto a motorway

You need a bit of welly to avoid trucks and slow lane huggers

The technology isn't there yet. Even the emergency braking assist can go off unexpectedly and without reason because of some flying piece of litter or a seagull.

So every new vehicle is going to be electric (200mile limit then 8 hours charge time) and cant go over certain speed limits
its going to take a week to travel 500 miles when now it can be done in a day!
even shorter journies will become longer with electric cars as you need to wait to charge them up
Its just not practical
I do like the idea of making everyone stick to the limit though more so in built up areas not so on motorways

Built up areas is fair, you're going nowhere fast anyway.

There'll be the ability to disable it (that's the 'but') otherwise the Cops will be at a huge disadvantage when chasing down a TWOC'd pre 2022 BMW M3, or armed robbers making a run for it in a beat up old VW golf.  :cheesy:
