For the last two month, Windows has been blocking access to my NAS

Tried allowing the port opening rule, but to no success at all

The number at the end of the first bit of the URL is 5000 aka port number

OK, I'm not too sure what happened

But I went to the Network and Sharing center, clicked view network and computer devices, right click the device and said ""View device webpage", and now I can access it

EDIT: Found it, for some reason the NAS assistant software is now on the PUBLIC domain, while still be configured for PRIVATE....weird

Windows 10's handling of network connections is a bag of shite at times.

Tell me, the NAS should be on a private network, not public

I can access all my files on my Win10 laptop via my Win7  laptop, but can barely access anything on my Win7 laptop from my Win10 laptop.
