Known the man for the best part of twenty years and never actually knew his real name until yesterday (Alan Weston)

https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/doncasterfreepress-uk/obituary.aspx?n=alan-weston&pid=195532846&fhid=34636 (there is a condolence page)

Loughor found the obit yesterday, and Eripmav confirmed today

The link has a condolence page you can leave a message on.

Still not 100% that it's actually his obit, but how many other ex-teachers with the same name, the same age, the same location.....

(If it's not his "he never used a computer in his life", then there will be a fair bit of confusion when they read out those condolences.)  :cheesy:

I've tried to post on the condolence page three times in the last six hours and none have gone through.

Sad.

He'd have been lucky to make it through this if he'd contracted it as well.

Much respect is due!

Absolutely love the Sublimed tag you have given him Wooster. Perfectly fitting. :)
