Gemini Man is ok worth a watch but not amazing

T34 (a russian film) is pretty damned good even if the subtitles aren't always correct!

Hunt for the Wilderpeople on Amazon is excellent.
The old 'never judge a book by it's cover' is appropriate here, because I saw the 'cover' for months and never fancied it. (I was completely wrong)

You and your kids would probably like it Falcs...it's kinda like Pixars UP, but grittier and funnier. (Psycho Sam (the actor who plays the NPC  guide in Jumanji) is hilarious.  :cheesy: )

Glad I avoided that

The Neon Demon

A very weird movie

At the start, the continuity announcer said it was for adults only. They were correct about that

Teen fiction doesn't really work for me these days, but that was decent enough.

I read the book first before watching it the first time and have now watched it twice and he made a good job of putting it on the screen

Watched Man of Steel last night, I bought it off iTunes, cheap for £5.99 for a 4K movie, it was going for cheap

I also watched the extras, and it was like nearly 3 hours long for one of them

It looks a bit Pearl Harbor level CGI from the trailers to me, like an extended cut scene in a game.

Nothing like it. It's only 90 minutes long, which is pathetic, coming from a multi billion dollar company

Watched it last night and i thought it was pretty good CGI was much better than Pearl Harbour and yes not lots of story as it was basically about one trip across the Atlantic and what happened during it. I think 90mins was about right any longer would have just been fill material like so many other films have these days to make them over the 'magic' two hours.

I was thinking of Midway, which was a mostly terrible movie.

Went to the cinema today and seen The Empire Strikes Back on the big screen.

Totally brilliant. A 40 yr old film that puts its modern day follow ups to shame.

Just watched the first five minutes of Midway and turned it off.
Pilot turns his engine off, dumps his fuel and refuses to use his flaps when landing. In order to practice landing when these things might happen in battle.

What a pile of shit.
