Line of duty is quite intriguing and I've just discovered that Paul Higgins of Wishaw ( a town that I've actually been to as Wooster can vouch for) fame and also the very sweary Scot in In The Loop.

In this he's swapped his Scottish accent for one south of the M4.
It's a pretty good series, but the acting is a bit dodgy if I'm honest.

Season 2 (or series 2 as we say this side of the pond) of The Boys.
Every bit as good as the first season, top stuff.

Went back to Preacher on Prime too. Glad I stuck with it this time as I only watched eps 1 and 2 last time and gave up on it. Takes up to episode five for it to start slotting into place and start making sense. When it does though it really does get quite good. On episode 7 now and I'm hooked.

Garth Ennis wrote both, so quality shit.
Preacher ended at the right time and didn't go down that done to death road. 😎

I sort of figured that the bloke who plays Hughie in The Boys was related to Dennis Quaid (its his father) but I didn't know his mum is Meg Ryan.

I don't get the rebooted series of Battlestar Galatica. It seems very boring to say the least

Apparently this is four season long, with about 15 episodes per season

The original was just two seasons long

The original wasn't even that great.

BSG is one of those shows whose fanbase is going to say they like it either way if it's shit or not because it suits the pretentious I'm a geek lifestyle bollox.

Honestly, it's almost as if enjoying SciFi or Fantasy is a fucking statement these days.

Admittedly, it's nothing like Star Trek, which is heads above the rest of sci-fi TV programmes. Buck Rogers was the worst out of the lot, with that annoying robot sound every time before it spoke. If anyone went with that robot into war, it would be a dead give away where they were
