Tado is a 'smart' thermostat that turns your heating down when you leave the house and turns it back up again when (or slightly before) you arrive.
I think this is a fucking pointless gadget since I can do it myself on the way out and when I get back home....my thermostat is next to the front door.
Personally, I think this is just another tracker/harvester CrApp.
I may be wrong.....but I don't trust this shit (like the 'Smart' Chinese lightbulb my sister got my mother last year that required access to the photos, messages and emails on her iPad in order to control it....(binned!))

-edit- I'm not averse to sharing data if there's a reason for it.
i.e. I use Google Navigation when driving and willing to share my live driving info to avoid congestion (TomTom/Navigon etc. do the same) and I'd regard that as a net benefit.
