If it's not painfully obvious (apologies) I'll start by admitting I haven't much of a clue here..
I've a system that's showing it's age these days with the newer games & I'm thinking that if I don't get myself a new GPU soon I probably won't for a very long time.
I'd be very grateful if folk could advise on whether they think Nvidia's recent GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB would be a sensible purchase/good upgrade? or would I be better of upgrading Cpu/Ram, HDD etc.. can't do all I'm afraid.

I don't think it had fully dawned upon me how much of a sorry state of affairs the current unavailability of our new GPU's is atm (or the truly ludicrous prices that we are expected to pay for any that can be found) IT HAS NOW! .. C'est la vie, consoles/bit of emulation back to the rescue I guess.
