I'd have expected your script to have changed over 30 years though.

Personally.....if I'd been taking a suite of drugs over 30 years, I'd expect a some major changes beyond the likes of mild analgesics etc.

I have a mate who's a lucky bastard.
He's had testicular cancer (lost a nut), some rare genetic problem with his kidneys, a serious skin melanoma (cancer again) and started suffering from epilepsy (grand mal seizures) in his 40's.

It wasn't epilepsy, he had a brain tumour.
His original doctor didn't know that one of the side effects of some of the the drug combinations he'd been prescribing over the years was epileptic fits (It was a new Doc doing her GP training who spotted this), so they changed his script....but the fits kept happening and they got him in for a brain scan...and found the tumour.
(we had a pre op 'wake' for him, but he was out and about again three days after having a good scoop of brain taken out.....an after effect he noted was the inability to understand the number 17.  )

That was about ten years ago and he's tickety boo, probably fitter than most of us around the same age because he had to give up his driving licence years ago and still walks to work.

Upshot:
If a fresh perspective on his prescription hadn't come into play, he'd have been dead five years ago due to an undiagnosed brain tumour that would have been put down to a side effect that was unknown to his GP.

I understand your points but they don't apply to me. I do ask about what I'm being given.

Do you take the advice though?

Quote
they took my whole bag of tablets and tried to tell me which I could keep, when I should take them, no matter they were first prescribed 30 years ago by a major Sheffield teaching hospital. I was flabbergasted. But I won that argument.

A bag of tablets, some of which have been prescribed for 30 years?

...fair play, you might have some dependency,  but a review is probably long overdue.

..anyway, it's by the bye and I'm glad you're back out.

Didn't fancy playing Legendary. I reckon I would have been beaten if I did. I went instead to World Class, I won 1-0. Looks like I still have a lot to learn still

Today I modified the registration agreement to include:

Note: (for the daily spammers)
User registration details will be checked against (& added to if applicable) the StopForumSpam database and a full ban and account sanitisation applied if your details and behaviour even smell dodgy, so why bother going through the hassle if your sole purpose for registering is only to have us carrying some shitty link to some shitty site that we'll delete as soon as we see it?

The odd one a day who goes to the bother of completing the new process probably don't even bother reading it, but it takes less time to clean the account and ban them, than it takes for them to register.
So I'm doing them a favour.

Getting thrashed 5-0 on the return to multiplayer gaming is not good. But considering how shit the connection the player had, would that be of any surprise? With the fact that the person played as Juventus is it even more of a surprise? Not really

I used to be fond of the dark nights. Nope I'm not. Just had a nap (yes, I'm [getting] old), woke up on the pitch dark with no idea what time it was. Bah!

The new Reg Agreement has either worked, or I've banned most of those who go to the effort of registering to post porn and appliance repairs (no kidding).

I have zero tolerance when it comes to appliance repairs...filthy bastards.

To be honest I'm not surprised at all. It is a bad tax designed only to catch headlines. Company car drivers would often have to stay overnight if they went all electric.

Fitted a centre stand today on my bike. I've been after one for ages since I don't like the idea of not being able to fix anything that involves the rear wheel in the middle of nowhere (chain for example).
Not much clearance but it's enough.

I couldn't stop laughing about someone on eBay

He was complaining about the fact I hadn't included a screenshot on the health of the hard drive I was selling, along came someone else and they bought it

At last the landlord fixed the central heating problem. I think that he was working on the central heating himself, and forgot to do something when he'd finished

The radiator downstairs was constantly rattling and the pressure kept going down to zero, suggest that the problem was a cap that wasn't closed. Either he had flushed the system, and forgot to close it
