Woke up with a massive earache, no doubt caused by the recent cold I still have, it's time to go to doctors again. Long queue ensues

Good thing is that I will be off work tomorrow

As a teen I used to suffer a lot from those, but not since, thankfully. They're not fun.

Could be related to your flight.

Nope, not related, just cold related

I woke up with a massive headache and I'm very clear as to what it's related to.
Mucho vino, mucho Bacardi and Captain Morgan's at yesterday's wedding and not hitting the sack till 0230. :embarrassed:

As a late teen I found myself with a bottle of Bacardi and  some home brew beer. Had to be carried to bed. Worst hangover I've ever had. Too at least two days to recover. No idea why I did it. I was just watching an episode of Kojak. I never saw the end of it.

Talking to a mate the other day who said that he'd had a notion to give Gin a go, and spent the whole day in the pub drinking the stuff (he enjoys a tipple once he gets started).

So he eventually gets home, falls asleep in front of the TV and awakes to find he's so copiously pissed himself that it's gone through the armchair and soaked the carpet as well.
Given his situation he deals with it in an almost sensible fashion.
He takes off his pissed soaked trousers and underpants, takes of his t-shirt and pulls that on like a pair of pants with his legs through the sleeves (that's dry, see ) and fucks off to his bed.

He's off the stuff now.

reCaptcha :police: seems to be working really well, just get the odd manual dodgy login now.
Been checking the IP's and emails against StopForumSpam's database and applying the relevant ban filter before deleting the accounts.

I'm 100% sure I haven't banned anyone who shouldn't be.

Before implementing reCaptcha there were a dozen or so per day (Russia and Eastern Europe mainly), now we only get one every couple of days.

It just took me about four attempts to figure out wtf was wrong with my reading glasses.
One of the lenses had fallen out.

I don't get my PS4, or maybe I'm the WIFI blocker man

As soon as I walked outside the room, the update for FIFA 19 started to download faster. When I sat next to it again, it started to crawl to a slow speed

Ahh, I see what you mean now Richie.

If you're between the device and the router you could cause some attenuation (signal loss) and you can also get hotspots and deadspots caused by reflection, so it could be a combination of both.

i.e. I only use a small antenna when watching terrestrial TV and Channel 4 goes offline if I approach the TV, even though the antenna is between me and the transmitter.

It just took me about four attempts to figure out wtf was wrong with my reading glasses.

Why do some wretched colds last for an eternity? Or what seems like an eternity?

Damn, I'm salivating over another graphics card, and it looks mint

If it's any consolation they've discovered Man Flu is a real thing. Men and women react differently to this sort of thing on a physiological level. Way to go, men!

I've never been out of action for more than 12 hours with flu, on the few times I've had it.
A cold is fuck all, bit of a headache with snotters and general fatigue.

Funny weather pattern in the UK for this time of year.

As someone pointed out in Viz, we might have to impose an anti hosepipe ban and turn all the taps on to prevent flooding.

That would have been funny... if someone hadn't suggested this to me after the recent heatwave, and not in an ironic way.

At last got my money from the eBay sale

This is also what I don't like, people just watching items and not placing bids
