I kinda blew up my shower this morning as well.

I had one of them multi function shower heads I hadn't use in a while, so I fitted it and watched as a bubble grew in the hose and then ruptured with a pop. :cheesy:
It was only an 70mm head on it, so nowhere near big enough for the amount of pressure I have.  :azn:

As luck would have it, I was in Costco today (doing a bog roll run for the family) and they had a WaterPik 5 function job (with stainless steel hose) for £24.
It works a treat (and has a 100mm head).

My living room is South-West facing so the sun blisters in and it's hot. In the north facing study it's cool, but putting the heating on is silly.

National records were broken two days successively in Wales. 21deg.

I wonder if Loughor noticed.

That new Lenovo thinkpad I bought the other week lasted about three days before I scratched the fuck out of it in my bag.
I bought a neoprene sleeve for it, but its too late.

Hey, it's for work so doesn't matter (it's not going to be sold) and if it sarts to look tatty I'll just buy a skin for it.

In Hereford this morning and it took my brain a while to process it.

It's properly pissing down here, with high winds.
Almost back to normal......except all the snow on the hills.  :azn:

A quiz on the telly said that 70% of Scots think it's a good idea to know your neighbours.

Had me thinking how many of my neighbours I know.
It's pretty much all of them and quite a lot from the streets around as well.  :azn:

I know the people to my left. Well, I've only lived here for thirty years.

I bought a new set of front brake pads and could have swapped them out yesterday afternoon, but thought "bugger it, I'll do it tomorrow".

Well that's that idea out the window, it's bloody snowing.  :embarrassed:

I thought there was no snow this year up there. Still, enjoy. I love watching it on the rare occasions it happens here.

I ran a bath, just for a change.
What a waste of several gallons of water.

I think they'd need to be at least 3 feet deep, as standard, to make them worthwhile.

Storm Gareth hits London

Perhaps its Bale causing a storm since he isn’t loved by Real Madrid fans

The weather has put paid to my night out on the town, its absolutely leathering down with rain

With Storm Gareth, I hate these names given to weather conditions, whipping up the rain, I'll be soaked in no time

Was talking to an old guy from across the road today.
His wife's unwell and he's looking more grey and closer to death every day, but I give him time.

Outside the shop today, I asked about his wife and how he's not looking great (with the stress) and during the conversation he leans into me and says "we wiped out 50 of them in New Zealand last week, so that will save us some money!"

What a pathetic cunt of a man he is.
