Yes I know. My point was the unseemly glory she took in it. I'd shoot one if I had to. I prefer to subcontract to a butcher.

Hmm..

They offered what was available and he preferred to make his own way, so why is he suing?
(iirc they have the high back chairs because they fit into the aisles on planes and he was possibly happy to use one getting on the flight, and why isn't he suing the taxi company for failing to provide him independent access from the taxi to his house?
Also....who fetched his bags for him? Are they still on the carousel?)

Handiflake?

Brexit: What the nation thinks

Taking part are:
David Gauke - Tory MP for South West Hertfordshire
Barry Gardiner - Labour MP for Brent North (London)
Caroline Lucas - Green MP for Brighton Pavilion
Nigel Farage - UKIP MEP for South East England.

That's right, they're all from the SE of England, again.

Whit a load of shite.

What were the Grenfell Effigy burners thinking?

Everyone is entitled to be an arsehole, but don't fucking record it and post it in public.

Trump apparently has lost the HoR, bit the GOP still retains the Senate from the mid-term elections

Basically meaning his policies might not go through, while he can annoint anyone in the Supreme courts

I think it's dead mans (or womens) shoes for their Supreme Court appointments.

It's interesting to see far more diversity in the HoR, with quite a few 1sts in the demographic, actually making it live up to its name.

The Tories appear to have flipped this idea around:
Story was broken by The Times, but they're paywalled, so : https://www.thenational.scot/news/17206855.grenfell-tower-experts-banned-from-criticising-theresa-may/
What should be released to the public has been kept private.

I was hoping for a more clear cut result against Trump. Seems not enough have learned.

The Senate elections are every 6 years and they're not all up for re-election at the same time.
This time round there were only a few Republican Senators up on the block, but a lot of Democrats.

Their House of Representatives have elections every two years, Presidential every four.

(It's designed so that they have at least one functioning arm of government at all times)

I see Trump has sacked his Attorney General, Jeff Sessions,.
He's the guy Trump appointed to disable most of their justice system...and (coincidentally) investigations into Trump's alleged affairs/influence with foreign agents, but promptly had to recuse himself from said investigations, because he was in a position liable to influence by some of those under investigation (Donald Trump being one).

He's probably had to react, since the HoR now have the power to investigate far more of his personal details now that it's under Democratic control.

He's flapping.
i.e. The US voters have never seen his tax records, despite his assurances that they're all in order and he'll make them public.
The HoR now has the power to have them released.

He's a Farage...an Arron Banks, bullshit artist.  :undecided:

The reporter didn't touch her. The Republicans will claim he stripped her on stage and ravished her, despite what the video clearly shows.

I note Trump is getting together with his mates to try and get us to abandon our food standards so we have to import and eat their crap, chicken washed in chlorine, and all sorts of other nasties.

There wasn't a lick of snow on the Cairngorms, that I could see.
That's unusual for this time of year.

Very mild but I'm sure winter will arrive just when it's most inconvenient.
