Don't normally do these types of things, because they tend to be wide of the mark when they are eventually released

But according to the rumours here, they are sticking with AMD's APU, so must indeed be going along again with their graphics. I'm not too sure, but APU are cpu with graphics? Am I right?

APU's have been around for a while.

This site suggest or gives off a hint that the PS5 may not have an optical disc player, due to the amount of downloadable movies and games

They are hopelessly forgetting that still a lot of people don't have extremely fast broadband, like in the 50+ Mbps range, and it wouldn't be fair on them if their only option was to download huge files in the 50Gb size

Or probably more...

But I hate to think of future games download size if they are to get rid of them, though sticking one disc after the other would hark back to the days of Windows 3.1 or before Windows 95 came on a CD

The PS5 would need more USB ports, considering it would need something for VR and there isn't much left on the current PS4 to do much

Quite a beefy system its looking up to be. But I still don't want to be one of the first to get it, because usually consoles have underlying problems that isn't first noticed, unless when heavy gaming

And that's now, but the launch date is how many years away?

They want to milk as much from the PS4 as possible

Good to see they're opting for AMD Ryzen and possibly Navi.

With the ray tracing graphics, that's gonna cost a bit, don't you think? I can't see a price lower than £400 compared to the around £349 the ps4 cost when first released

Though I could re-initialise my PS4 and sell it on Ebay to get a few bucks to buy the PS5

A crytek dev has apparently said the PS5 is a devs dream to work on and is powerful beyond their wildest dreams.
Normally Sony are the more powerful but harder to get to grips with.
Remember this is a Crytek dev and cryengine is the traditional acid test.
Can see Sony wiping the floor with MS again if it's true.

Now there are two editions, one disc drive version, and the other one for those who just download games aka the digital version
