Series three of El Chapo in 4k UHD.
This is a very well made series, in Spanish of course with English subtitles and wow, how it opened my eyes about what's been happening in Mexico over the years.

i missed the first ten minutes but it certainly follows the themes and meta of the last few seasons. She was quite good. I'll watch next week.

Currently watching Ep5 of The Discovery of Witches. It's very much not for teens. A touch slow maybe. The sets/locations are great. Acting is good.

Condor, on Universal. S1 Ep1. If they haven't used up all their good ideas in the first three episodes it could be good.

Tin Star is on Council TV (Channel 4) on Sunday nights (started last week)

I liked the first ep and it seems pretty good.

You watched it on premium Glam, is it worth keeping up with?

Tin Star is fierce and unforgiving. Zero humour and it's hard to know who to root for, but it is quality drama.

Just watching the last of Joan Hickson's Miss Marple. She was by far the best of all the Miss Marples.

Didn't enjoy last Sunday's Dr Who. There was just so much wrong with it in historical terms. James would never, ever, ever be alone, without servants and guards, ect. He'd never be able to escape them. And he'd never leave the court unattended in case he found himself not in power when he returned.

The latest season of House of Cards (without Spacey) was weird and it felt like all the actors were on drugs.
It really was quite dire and the writers simply could nit let go of the Frank Underwood spectre. He was everywhere, when they should have moved on.

The full rewrite probably mucked it up.
The same thing happened with the second season of Goliath....which got chopped up and reworked as well.

I watched Frozen again. I think it has all the class of the early Disney cartoons. Some dark parts to it and bits that weren't explained, but it's Disney, not Dickens.
