It was a smooth update for my desktop

The laptop required a restart, after so many failed attempt to update,  because I updated a software while downloading
The upgrade

Cystitis again. Yet again. I'm absolutely sick of it.

There's probably a musical about that here.

There seems to be a fucking musical about everything else  :cheesy:

The longest day. Downhill to Christmas now. How depressing. I've been feeling fed up a lot lately. I've done nothing this last six months, gone nowhere, ravished no beautiful women, not driven a Veyron... What's the point?

Me thinks a new gfx card is needed. Nothing wrong with the current one. Bit worried that the 750W PSU isn't going to handle the card with all the gubbins of the assorted hard drives and whatnots connected to the pc

750w is way plenty for cards these days. Their power consumption has fallen over the years. I've used the same 650w Corsair for the last three PC builds. If it's a decent PSU that's one expense you shouldn't have.

Was looking through my bookmarks today and hadn't realised how long I've been saving them.
Check this out for a blast from the past:  :azn: http://georgedillon.com/web/freewaretable.shtml

Search for the power specs on the manufacturer's website.

RTX 2070 sounds very nice indeed with all that ray tracing. What brand did you choose?

Every time I look at the weather the projected temp has gone up until now it's 30 here for Saturday. No thanks. You can keep it. Thankfully it's only one day and I've ordered a decent fan.

I don't know.

The RTX card I'm getting soon is the most expensive part in my pc build. Yup, even more expensive than the cpu
