We got a bus lane ticket in Portsmouth last year and i was about to FU it, when I realised it was a hire car, so they just zapped the credit card and that was it.

Nice to see the forum back up.

The hosting site was down as well, that's usually the cause for the outages.

The humidity has shot up today. I didn't see that forecast. Yesterday was perfect. Gits. I hate it with every fibre of my being and it can only get worse over the summer.
I usually find there are only a handful of days a year when I really enjoy the weather on that particular day.

At last I got the gist of how to use iCue properly. Just to get some funky lighting for my keyboard and mouse

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to use it apparently

I'm a rocket scientist and I still find it baffling.

My anti virus software suddenly finds viruses that are in my email. Not clicked on the link or opened up attachment, but given that the renewal date is almost up, I find that slightly suspicious as to why it took so long to find suspicious links and attachment. Its like over 6 months that email was in my inbox

Cystitis again. Yet again. Four clear days from the end of the last dose of antibiotics. I'm waiting for the GP to call back. They're all put on house calls just now. I simply don't understand why I get these things so frequently these days.

Buy a Dishdash and wear that around the house with no pants to let your bits breath.

I notice that over the past few days the living room light needs to be on at eight. Down to winter already?

I believe even in the US they're not allowed to call them food. When all of mankind has turned to dust the Twinkies will still be edible.

Are they 100% manufactured chemicals like the flavouring in 7up?

There's quite a lot of normal stuff in them.

I was going to change the oil and filter in my car today, but couldn't be arsed with the faff of getting under it and removing the sump guard to get to the oil drain plug.
So I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-TP696-Vacuum-Extractor-Manual/dp/B000WZF74M?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3
Whack the pipe down the dipstick tube, give it a few pumps, and it draws the oil out with no mess.

Should have bought one years ago, given I do a couple of oil and filter changes a year.

Anyone seen anything notable in the Prime Day sales?
It seems to be mostly crap I don't want or need.  :cheesy:

Mostly crap and nothing I want. There was a decent battery drill that was good value but I don't need one. I bought a new one last year.

I just had a good long browse through and it's mostly Chinese knock-offs with weird capitalised names.

I seemed to be dogged by shitty flatmates

Their standards are so ‘much higher’ than mine
