I fired a PPI claim in today.
I don't think I've ever had any, but worth a punt just in case.  :cheesy:

Dumping a lot of photos that have low intrinsic value. Could also save me the dosh to get new hard drives, so worth doing

If they're in Raw format you could save a lot of space by either converting them to jpeg or compressing them.

Nope, if I get rid of the RAW its because I don't want them or see very little value in them, not even a jpg conversion will be of any use to me. To me, once they've gone, they are gone for good...

My interweb was glitchy at dinnertime, so I rebooted the router, and that was it. All signal gone. When I looked at my mobile internet with EE it was down too! How? I mean how? They're not in any way connected.
Two frustrating hours later and EE was back up with an acknowledgement that their system was playing but  it's fixed now. Good. Now for the router.
It's taken hours of fiddling, resetting, auto and manually, searching for passwords I hardly ever need and so on.
Now it works. And I did it. Without help. Yay me.

Wow. After a day's successful  use of the internet I dared upgrade the firmware in my router, - and gosh, it worked. Who knew things can go to plan? I mean, who really knew?

I really need to pimp my pc out in RGB lighting, it looks dull as dishwater despite the RGB fans and the RGB on the graphics being better than the last one

Its amazing that ever since I've been at the new place since September, I haven't had one NAS drive failure. Goes to show that the vibrations caused by the previous place due to a tenant really slamming the door when he entered and exited the house did have an effect on the drive

Oof, I've forgotten the name of the diagram where you show what happens to each execution of code.....where it has a diamond, square and trapezoid?? and a circle in it, which branches off to each statement. I'm a bit rusty in that respect, so don't be hard on me, lol

The amount of guff I have on my hard drives, makes me wonder why I have the need to continue to upgrade them.

I have way more space than I need too. And my cloud provider, Dropbox, upped the price but also doubled the space to 2TB. I'll never fill all of that. There isn't enough porn.

The only thing I don't like about super large hard drives, is that when you want to sell them, you've not only got to format them, you've got to erase the content clean

I just realised that in order to get to the SATA ports now, I have to take out the graphics card, it much bigger than the puny one I had before

Adri's lad was given a 4Tb WD Black drive a couple of weeks ago, because the people he was working for thought it was dead.
I ran it through WD Data Lifeguard and left it in my PC with some regular test transfers for a few days and everything seemed fine, with no errors reported.
A bonus drive for free!

I bet Loughor could provide a long list of sheep porn sites to fill it up with. Wonder what he's doing these days.

With a very seductive voice the woman asked her husband, "Have you ever seen twenty pounds all crumpled up?"

"No," said her husband.

She gave him a sexy little smile, unbuttoned the top 3 or 4 buttons of her blouse, and slowly reached down into the cleavage created by a soft, silky push-up bra, and pulled out a crumpled twenty pound note.

He took the crumpled twenty pound note from her and smiled approvingly.

She then asked him, "Have you ever seen fifty pounds all crumpled up?"

"Uh... no, I haven't," he said, with an anxious tone in his voice.

She gave him another sexy little smile, pulled up her skirt, and seductively reached into her tight, sheer panties... and pulled out a crumpled fifty pound note.

He took the crumpled fifty pound note, and started breathing a little quicker with anticipation.

"Now," she said, "have you ever seen 50,000 pounds all crumpled up?"

"No way!" he said, while obviously becoming even more aroused and excited, to which she replied.

'Go and look in the garage.'

Today's Deal the Day on Amazon is a genuine bargain. If my Sonicare wasn't new this year I'd have one; they're excellent.
