When will the US ever learn from the new mass shooting? inIn matter of days, that its clearly not for its intended use as the 2nd Amendment suggested the right to bear arms was ever intended for

Never.

It's not even newsworthy any more.

The things is, that we only hear of the ones that have 5 or more fatalities. According to wiki, there have been over 200 shootings involving more than one getting injured as a result of these shootings. Terrible toxic country

It's not guns that cause these though, it's violent video games apparently.
So some are proposing tighter controls on video games, but not on guns.  :cheesy:

I remember the famous Daily Fail headlines that a violent movie caused a person to kill, the media would fall for the tricks of the lawyer of the defendant in that case. I mean, I've watched tonnes of violent movies since then, not one has made me want to go out and kill another person, even if they really annoyed me.

What on earth is this world coming to, when someone tips a fridge on the cliff and laughs about it?

That's my mate in the picture.  :cheesy:

He's not an extremist, he just doesn't take any pish from the Unionist headcases who turn up at these things.

Interesting. I tend to agree with him, though I'm not in any way for independence.

Someone mentioned that they're holding out the shitty stick of Federalism now.
Before the last Indyref I'd have said yes, but not now. Any affiliation is way too toxic.

That's a bit bizarre.
Imaging having touchscreen controls in your car, it'd be fucking horrible.

They do, a lot of them. I don't fancy it. Give me clearly labelled buttons and switches like in the old days.

I know that to launch nukes, you need a genuine authorisation, but imagine if that wasn't the case and they were intending to press something else on a touch screen. Mutually Assured Destruction would have taken place. Just as well they need genuine authorisation and a two physical key access to them nukes
